The basis of this story is about a man who lives in a cheap apartment with his dog Max. The man is late to work due to not having reliable transportation and is terminated from his job in the third and fourth panel because of this. He is miserable as he waits for the bus, but ultimately is happy that he still has his loving dog, Max by his side.
I wanted to create a story involving pets and their impact on our mental and emotional health. As a proud owner of two cats and one dog, I can safely say pets can help you out during tough times. I used the website “Storyboard That” to create the comic panel. I wish I could have implemented two or more panels into the comic to add some depth to the story, however the website’s free version only allows comics up to six panels. That being said, It was a fun process that I really enjoyed.

For a 6 panel comic, this really made me sad! You used the facial expression options well, and they showed how upset your main character was.
I don’t think StoryboardThat has an option to fill the office with people, so it looks like the big boss is firing his last employee, haha.
Anyway, I really like this comic. Max is a good boy.

I liked your story is was pretty easy to follow. I would suggest of maybe having a better solution to the problem such as him getting a new job. From my viewpoint, the solution is that he is loved by his dog. Overall, I liked your story as it got my interest right away with having a dog in it.

I really liked your story as it was able to grab my attention right from the beginning with the dog, Max. I also wrote my multi-image story over being late for work, but mine had a different ending. You took yours in a different direction, and I really enjoyed your ability to keep us reading from the beginning to the end.
