This was a very fun project to work on. I used Adobe Premier to edit this video. I shot this with my Samsung Galaxy 8. I did not have a tripod to record a steady shot, so I improvised and used a fan to record each shot. My friend Derek generously participated in the video with his acting. The background music was from the Ultra-Lounge Vol. 4 Bachelor Pad Royale playlist.
My main goal was to create an intentionally bad snickers commercial that would show-up at 4am on Adult Swim. I really liked phasing my friend Derek into a snickers bar. It’s probably the best editing I have ever done. I tried to do it as a reference to this classic video. I also tried to employ different camera angle and utilize the rule of thirds in each shot. I made sure that each shot was a bit too long to add awkward tension to re-create that fake infomercial vibe . The story aspect of this video was to show that you are what you eat. literally. If I were to do this again. I would definitely added more people turning into snickers.
Not gonna lie, I thought this was hilarious. There is big meme energy here. Your friend absolutely devoured that snickers. The music and sound effects were a great touch. The intense music made the guy’s transition from a human into a Snicker’s bar super funny. I also thought the Comic Sans was very appropriate. AWESOME job.

This brought a smile to my face. The idea was already pretty good, but your friend actually turning into the snickers bar at the end cracked me up. I really like how you kept the video simple while getting your point/story across clearly. Like you mentioned, it might be even more funny to have multiple people turning into snickers, but even like this, your story turned out great.

This was super funny! I feel like it would have been awesome to see a second person eat a KitKat or a Twiz, and turn into that. The story overall was great, really funny and simply explaining… you are what you eat.

Very funny video. I really like the Minecraft eating sounds that you used as the person ate the Snickers. The person turning into a Snickers at the end was quite funny too. I think your video acts fairly well as a comerical like you planned it to be because it is short and very simple. Overall, the video is probably the overall funniest of the class as it was funny throughout. Well done.
